These Terms of Service govern access to and use of DialTask’s website, restaurant phone automation software, ordering and reservation workflows, analytics, integrations, and related services. By creating or using an account, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the business you represent.
DialTask provides software that can answer restaurant phone calls, use restaurant-provided or reviewed knowledge, capture order and reservation requests, route calls to staff, and interact with supported third-party systems. Features available to a location depend on its configuration and on the capabilities actually available from connected providers.
You represent that you have authority to configure the restaurant locations, phone numbers, menus, integrations, payment methods, and other business systems you connect to DialTask. You may not connect a phone number, account, or third-party system that you are not authorized to control.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting account credentials, assigning appropriate team roles, and promptly disabling access that is no longer authorized.
DialTask may help create a restaurant profile from public website information, but the restaurant remains responsible for reviewing important facts before production use and for keeping menu prices, modifiers, hours, policies, sold-outs, service availability, and other operational information accurate. DialTask is designed to avoid inventing unsupported facts, but automated systems can still make mistakes.
An order or reservation request is not guaranteed merely because it was discussed during a call. DialTask is designed to confirm a transaction only when the configured workflow returns the required success state. Some locations may use a staff-acknowledgment or request-only workflow rather than a direct third-party integration.
DialTask may depend on telecommunications carriers, payment processors, AI infrastructure, point-of-sale systems, reservation providers, restaurant integration platforms, and other third parties. Their services are governed by their own terms and may change, become unavailable, require merchant authorization, or impose additional requirements. DialTask does not guarantee that every third-party product will support every feature.
You are responsible for maintaining the restaurant’s public phone service and any forwarding configuration required for the selected setup. You must provide a valid staff handoff destination when human transfer is enabled and must avoid configurations that create forwarding loops. You should promptly remove or change forwarding if the DialTask service is discontinued.
Standard DialTask service is billed as a recurring subscription by activation-ready restaurant location at the prices presented at checkout or in the billing interface. Additional locations may be prorated when added or removed. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Payment processing is handled through Stripe or another payment processor designated by DialTask.
Prices may exclude transaction taxes unless stated otherwise. Where DialTask is required to collect applicable sales, use, or similar taxes, those amounts may be calculated and added through the billing system. Tax treatment can vary by jurisdiction.
You may not use DialTask for unlawful activity, fraud, spam, deceptive impersonation, unauthorized surveillance or recording, abuse, attempts to bypass security controls, or activity that interferes with the service or other users.
You are responsible for complying with laws applicable to your restaurant’s use of phone automation, caller disclosures, communications, and any call recording feature you choose to enable. DialTask may process call metadata, transcripts, configuration data, and related information as described in its Privacy Policy and product settings.
DialTask is designed with readiness checks and controlled fallback behavior, but uninterrupted service is not guaranteed. Internet, carrier, AI, POS, reservation, or other provider failures may affect a call or transaction. Where configured and technically available, DialTask may attempt to transfer a call to the restaurant’s staff line.
DialTask is designed to improve responsiveness and restaurant phone operations, but it does not guarantee revenue, labor savings, order volume, reservation volume, call volume, uptime, or other business results.
DialTask may suspend or restrict production service for non-payment, security risk, unlawful use, abuse, or material breach. Account cancellation does not remove your responsibility to update external phone forwarding or third-party configurations that remain under your control.
DialTask and its software, branding, interfaces, workflows, and documentation remain the property of DialTask and its licensors. Subject to these Terms, customers receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service for their authorized business operations.
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DialTask will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, or data.
DialTask may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes may be communicated or posted with an updated effective date.
