POS Integration

Connect DialTask to restaurant submission workflows with provider-aware setup

DialTask routes phone-order requests through the safest verified path available for each location. A production-certified direct adapter can submit to the restaurant system; otherwise Order Relay sends the request to staff for acknowledgment without falsely telling the caller it was accepted. Payments stay with the restaurant's existing setup.

Supported connection patterns

POS setup depends on the provider and the configured path.

Restaurant-selected POS providers remain in Order Relay until a verified production adapter is actually authorized.
Order Relay provides a controlled staff-acknowledgment path when direct machine acceptance is unavailable.
Retry and sync-status visibility for failed submissions

Truthful expectations

This product should not overclaim universal direct POS support.

Integration depth depends on the provider and the current implementation.
Current fallback delivery is staff acknowledgment through Order Relay; an unverified webhook or provider selection is never treated as POS acceptance.

Operational fit

Where POS setup belongs in the rollout.

Plan → location → menu → call flow → voice → POS connection → test call → go live.
